eh, most people in East Wall are happy with the new arrivals mate
I doubt they would, I’d say they’d quietly support them.
Well true but if you asked them, they wouldn’t
You wouldn’t mind but it’s a kip of a shopping centre and pretty much directly faces the hospital (multi story) and apartments (multistory) so not exactly turning the area upside down
Miserable cunts is all they are.
Its a weird area. Loads of new builds and investments all around it and it stuck in a time warp. The pub beside the Super Valu is just plain odd. Apart from the chipper getting an upgrade in recent years its like a place that time forgot.
Told ye they’d do this. Arseholes living in the likes of Lakelands who have stared at this horrific shell of a building for years are completely brainwashed.
@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy what are the residents of Dean’s Grange near the cemetery trying to oppose? Signs up on all their front gardens when I passed by on Thursday with slogans such as ‘save our parking spaces’ and ‘help the elderly’. I’m assuming a cycle lane of some sort but I figured you’d tell me quicker than I’d find out myself
it seems to be that they will lose parking on a public road, they keep changing their plans every time residents complain
Idiots. A one way system there assuming it would be heading away from city centre would be a great addition
Its a public road they have no right to park their cages
Agreed
College with acute accommodation shortage objects to student accommodation.
Where exactly?
It says 22 room? Hardly gonna make any difference
Courtbrack Avenue by the article.
Surely it’s better than nothing? The pricey of rental accommodation is absolute insanity.
7k for the college year.
It would make a big difference to 22 people or however many the rooms take.
Take that view and of course it’s true, but it’s a drop in the ocean, they need to build an awful lot more than that
They do but they have to start somewhere.22 is better than nothing.
Try build something bigger and there’ll be objections to that as well.
