Can anyone explain why there would be a significant difference between what ESB are saying I exported and what my monitoring app says?
E.g. Saturday my app says I exported 21kwh to the grid but when I check on ESB Networks it says I exported 7.8kw.
Good question. Ive never checked tbh. I’ll bet there’s no-one alive ever has a reading the other way round though.
You can register on ESB Networks and see for yourself once you have the MPRN

If you look at it for a longer time period does it tally? Might be something funky about when its recorded being exported by you and then received by the grid? Or maybe a lag between them?

Had the same issue on Monday. System only installed last week. Installer said the system might have needed an update so has done so remotely.
44kwh so far today. 37 of that exported to grid. Solar Solar Solar

I cant answer this question but I have checked over time and have been paid for what the app said I exported

Yeah it seems to have corrected itself now.
Here @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy they’re talking about removing our tax exemption for selling solar to the grid. Sort it out for us please
