A ridiculously hard picture round, what was the quiz for?
I was at a quiz last week and this was the picture round, a lot lot easier. I must say I despise picture rounds, mainly because I am terrible at them. The only thing they are good for is that it’s very hard to cheat with a picture round but I haven’t seen people cheat at a table quiz in years:
Questions were:
- This symbol forms part of the logo of which Irish organisation?
- Name the Irish band.
- Name this deceased film star.
- Name the current film.
- Name the organisation this woman became president of recently.
- Name the European country.
- Name the two sport stars (one point each)- bonus point if you could get how many points the smaller one scored the weekend previous.
- Name the movie.
I have to take issue with #7, they are not stars. One is a beanpole and the other a ginge who has form with surprise sex.

I think that’s all of them right.
Doing up the quiz for the club, think I’ll have to include a picture round despite my hatred of them. Have to get the balance right between questions that are attainable for everyone, and those that separate the men from the boys so to speak.
