Outside of our resident parkland golfing guru @anon32894817, the almost universal consensus seems to be that Royal Portrush put on, one of the best ever stagings of the British Open. Maybe some of the other great links courses on the island like Lahinch and Portmarnock should start lobbying for the right to host it.
