Fuck him. What happened with mount merrion?

Beat them in a cup semi two weeks ago so they were gunning for revenge. They were warming up on the pitch before any of our lads even arrived. We still won 5-4.

Savage. What div is that? We lost a ridiculous game to a mount merrion team earlier this year and our boys were very pissed off with some of their shit. I wonder is it the same dudes? Out chance for revenge was called off because their pitch is a mess and they refused to switch the fixture.

Might explain his shookness

I concur

Hugo might be the first Hugo who hasn’t gone to Rock or Moykels.

I’m going to head out for a 30 minute walk at around 11.45am & I’m absolutely desperate for a spot. Sometimes those off peak ambles can yield unexpected dividends. GGA types arsing around on a Monday, chewing the fat, wouldn’t be surprised to see Pat Gilroy or someone.

Playing fast and loose with “great” there.

I was in Center Parcs for a day over the weekend with the family as a guest of a relative. While one of my offspring was splashing about in one of the kiddie pools as I supervised, I found myself standing next to former Mayo utility player Seamus O’Shea, who was engaged in similar duties.

I exchanged a knowing nod with Seamus but I would be sound in that I wouldn’t be one to engage in any further communication. I’d like to think that, like myself, he was fairly antsy after spending the whole day doing the whole parenting thing in a room which the temperature is set to 29 degrees and having to chase his children around the place. He has that thousand yard stare, no doubt due to being a lesser player than his more illustrious and commercially marketable brother.

Former Ireland rugby captain and analyst Ciaran Fitzgerald looking lost in Connolly Station earlier. He was with a lady friend. He has a fine head of hair which is very grey.

Isn’t he in his 70’s FFS. Not many can pull off the silver fox look at that stage but there’s always the exception…… (reaches for Jameson bottle) :tumbler_glass:

Billy Morgan

Bernard Jackman at the races.

If he’s on the Munster programme he’s in with a chance in the 6.15

I’m fairly sure I’ve just spotted James Horncastle & a couple of those other intellectual football journalists (not “Miguel” though) sitting at a table outside The Pig & Heifer on Pearse Street, Dublin 2.

@mickee321, could you check online as to whether there’s some live event/podder in Dublin tonight involving the football “woof” brigade? James, if it was he, was regaling the other two with a tale & looked in fine form.

Nottingham Forest and Ireland legend Andy Reid at Turners Cross this evening. Roy Keane was there too.
