Munster rugby stalwart Jack O’Donoghue there in Dunmore earlier. Striding up the Killea Road dressed like a lad going to a wedding. Blue sports jacket, chinos, shirt and tie, blue suede shoes. Maybe there is a wedding in Killea church?

They got some weather for it. Must have been glorious out on the terrace.
It was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful setting. Got up and had a swim and a sauna this morning to fix the head. Paradise. And looks like being a belter again today.

I was coming back from a breakfast meeting in Perky’s in Raheny (brioche french toast savoury, americano) just after 10am last Friday morning when I spotted FotF Barry Heneghan TD approaching the Irish Fit Coach gym in Middle Third, Killester.
Irish Fit Coach aka Fran Usanga has recently taken over the Royal british Legion building that was derelict for over a decade & I dare say Barry was rocking up for a social media clip to show his support for this local business & amenity. I must have a look at the socials actually.
The Killester Garden Remembrance Committee weirdos apparently needed to be convinced that this gym would be an appropriate use of the building & respectful to their british soldier ancestry. Fran persuaded them in an open meeting down in the football club a while back but has been fucking rubbish out the front since then - he’s basically gutted the place & got the gym ready & this has caused severe consternation within the committee. They’ve tried to give the entrance area a nice look by sticking in floral baskets & stuff & I see them going around tidying the area on & off.
Fran doesn’t give a fuck & even dug out a piece of grass on the green adjacent to the building & made his own car park without having planning permission from the council.
Barry Heneghan TD was sporting his trademark moustache along with a shorts & garish orange tshirt combo.
