The Orange Goat, Killester, Dublin 5 stalking thread

Falafel, Ciaran Kilkenny would look 5 ways at an apple. No wonder they fell off.

We were in St Annes today to play Barrogs. They game was moved pitches because of a decapitated fox in the middle of the field. The stench! The lads played very well and absolutely battled their way to victory. We didn’t see anyone famous or eat fancy food.

Fento doing his team duty in Somerton this evening. Alas they lost by 3 points but he was like a men amongst boys. He lorried a dodgy 2 pointer in the second half that looked to tail wide at the last minute. Ref went in to consult umpires from opposing clubs for 2-3 minutes. In the end he awarded one point to keep all happy!

A gaelic footballer playing gaelic football.

Ah pal.

Fento and his doris in Volumes again this morning. Both having coffee and sharing Volume’s version of a hash brown. Fento had a bagel too. He was kitted in a white designer polo top with black jeans and white air max. No dog with them today. They were in the same seat as last time.

Gerald Kean, celebrity solicitor at lunchtime there in Sole restaurant on Drury St. Gerald was wearing a kind of cream and pink check suit, the likes of which Rich Ricci would be ashamed to be seen in. Gerald was accompanied by a younger lady (30s maybe) of foreign extraction. Good looking girl. At one stage they ordered a Dover sole.

I saw Fento on Wednesday morning but I didn’t post about it…until now.

Gerald Keen with some squeeze half his age > Fento walking a dog.

There’s a great tradition here of Gerald being spotted in Dublin eating meals with younger ladies

What did you eat?
Was there once and was a table of Japanese tourists devouring everything

I see on my socials that Fento’s down in St Anne’s Park giving the lads from Amble Raheny GAA jerseys ahead of the gig later. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for spots (old & new) when I get down there in a while.

I had monkfish. It was very nice. Glass of Picpoul and a pot of tea to finish.

You probably won’t believe me but I just spotted Fento down at Amble with fellow Raheny footballer Rutherson Real.

John Lennon used to call Yoko’s sister’s daughters the Japanieces.

Damien Delaney the other day. His modest enough car was ahead of me in traffic and then we went side by side when I was going left and he straight on by the Douglas flyover. Damo’s an alright sort.

You could tell just from that interaction?

His child was in the same Preschool as my fifth of five kids. He’s standoffish but he’d probably say the same about me.

I spotted ex footballer Anthony Stokes in residential rather than downtown Killester at 5pm on Saturday. He was hardly going to The 2 Johnnies in St Anne’s Park & he hardly took a wrong turn coming out of the dart station. Either way he was dressed neatly in football manager style runnery shoes, jeans, navy & red top & dark jacket & seemed to be chatting convivially with a lady as they strolled along together.

Laois Hurling Manager Tommy Fitz being dropped into Portlaoise to go on the sauce by his accommodating wife before midday Sunday. Suitable car flags adorning the motor. Tommy was in good spirits.
