The Orange Goat, Killester, Dublin 5 stalking thread

I saw Aaron Gillane in the Premium section at the All Ireland football final.

He was very polite and friendly to some young lads wanting a picture with him.

On second thoughts……

I suppose we need to be careful on here saying where we spotted people sometimes.

I spotted Dublin bogball superstar “King” Con O’Callaghan bombing down the North Wall Quays on a Dublin Bike at around 8.42am this morning. He was dressed in runnery/professional soccer manager shoes, a brownish cargo pants type affair, a white tshirt & an open zipped navy jacket. He had a look of physical exertion on his face - it can be windy on the quays. He had travelled beyond The Convention Centre & PwC & was heading past Salesforce & The Central Bank in the direction of the 3 Arena & toll bridge. I was somewhat taken aback as I was under the impression he worked in PwC. However, a quick LinkedIn check while compiling this post reveals Con changed employer earlier this year & I suspect (without verifying) their premises must be in one of those relatively new office developments further down along towards the Point.

Con lives in Stoneybatter so he does.

PWC have scaled back on giving makey up jobs to Dublin players.

I’d say a lot of these lads that end up in professional services firms don’t have the appetite for the soul crushing work needed to advance your career and would prefer to be out training at 7 o clock.

Who: Ex-Ireland football player, most capped player for Ireland, top scorer of all time for Ireland, ex manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros and MOTD pundit Robbie Keane.
Where: The Anvil restaurant Saggart
When: This morning
With: A friend of his. Appeared to be waiting on a coffee or breakfast possibly to take away.
Further Details: Robbie seemed in good form. The Anvil does a nice feed. Robbie appeared to know the waiting staff based on his friendly interactions. Believe he has a property in the area.

I believe Robbie used to be extremely friendly with one of the previous proprietors of said restaurant :eyes:
