His body of work is the best since kauto imo.
Even cromwells cheating horse completely recoiled after turning him over in the gold cup.

His novice year might not be his highest rating but I thought he looked most devastating that year. Still very fast. A bit like Kauto in 06/07 which Ruby says was his best.

Would you believe it, they actually fucking killed the horse.
Ruby Walsh released a statement on Tuesday, saying, "Sadly, Galopin Des Champs suffered an injury in his field this morning and could not be saved.
"He was checked a few times throughout the morning, but late in the morning when I went to get him for exercise, I found him with a severe injury, high up on his near front leg. He was attended to by our vets immediately, but X-rays revealed extensive, unrepairable damage.
Sure throw up a statue of any horse and call it him
