The Pay Your Respects to Dead Racehorses Thread

[QUOTE=“Sandymount Red, post: 1019424, member: 1074”]This article in The Mirror about poor Wigmore Hall is causing quite a stir. Warning - It contains graphic photos of the horse being shot in the head

That should go in the woeful journalism thread. Shouldn’t have let the transition year student write it.

Christ that’s a woeful article.

Disrespectful to the horse and at variance to the aims and objectives of this thread.

Heartless cunts in the world of horse racing. It isn’t enough to have a half starved and dehydrated dwarf in a garishly coloured uniform beat the shit out of it for 2 miles over fences but when the thing needs veterinary help they shoot it in the head. In the background is the cunt with his trailer waiting to take the corpse back to feed his rabid hounds so that next week when there is no racing on the horsey set can tallyho down the farm chasing foxes and ‘cubbing’ as a cultural exercise for the children.

Horrible cunts, the lot of them.

It was a 1 mile flat race mate, no need to exaggerate

If I was referring to Wigmore Hall I would have mentioned the beast by name. My jibe was a general one directed at the horsey as a group of people who claim to put the welfare of their charges above all else. Anyone with half a brain would see through their deception.

The fact that it was a flat race makes it even worse.

why is it woeful?
it’s a brief , concise summary of extreme animal cruelty culminating in a Hamas/ ISIS style execution with supporting data of pictures
what’s the issue?

Was at Aintree the day he demolished Cue Card, amongst others. Cracking performance.

Finished in front of Sprinter Sacre at Cheltenham that year aswell.

Ah well, sad news indeed.

He wasn’t a racehorse mate.

He’s just sleeping mate.
