Most people will feel an urge towards vengeance. Thatās natural. Itās also illegal to act on it. Justice isnāt personal. Criminal justice systems exist to take care of that. They make it explicit that itās the stateās responsibility to deal with criminals, not the victim or the bereaved or vigilantes or what have you. Again, this is just basic facts Iām pointing out to you.

I posted a very balanced post highlighting suffering on both sides of this particular caseā¦ a woman locked in a hole 30 years waiting to die and a family waiting for vengeance on the other side - i specifically said to be human is tough because you need to be able to see the suffering on both sidesā¦ yet said despite this, if i was in the place of the parents of the deceased Iād want my vengeance. I also said there were no winners here
