Swansea gone 1-0 up at home on 3e. Some of their play is very easy on the eye. Nice short interplay but not like Barca with unnecessary passes.
AC Milan will win this

Ill put my mark in the thread as Moyes may have guided United into this come next year.
He’ll do well to either manage to get there, or still be there himself at this rate. Of course it doesn’t help that Banquo’s ghost is hovering over his shoulder.
Moyes has a better champions league record than Taggart at this stage.
That wouldn’t be hard, Taggart was a tv detective.
i backed Celtic to be beaten the quarter finals of this earlier
as an aside can we please Dungeon this thread and make my official one a sticky?

No. My thread was set up first only for you to come along inaccurately complaining that a thread hadn’t been set up and starting another one. Fuck you, you bad bastard.

Happy to merge your thread into mine, as long as my thread title and thread opening post is retained.
i have no problem with this.
you are lucky to have someone like @Mac to dig around in the internet graveyard to breath life into your threads, its akin to someone having sex with a corpse
the lack of content in your opening post is a disgrace BTW, my opening post and the way i set the scene was bloody impressive
High time to kick this off with the tournament well underway
very suprised not to see any mention of the St.Pats game last week on here.
they got a very creditble 2-2 draw out on Lithuania against Zaligiris Vilnius and we would hope they could push through tonight in Inchicore.
Drogheda are 0-0 in Malmo approaching HT , same score on aggregate in what looks a much tougher assignement.
Ahead of next weeks Battle of Britian between Cliftonville and Glasgow Celtic in the European cup, their fellow scots-irish brothers Linfield set the bar last night with progression to the next round of the UEFA cup beating some bunch from the Faroes 5-0 overall.
If by having sex with a corpse you mean choosing the first thread on a search results page then its the exact same thing alright
Spuds will win this…just like Chelsea last year, have the squad to win it and a manger who will take competition seriously…
I fancy Juventus to win it.
Spurs have equalised on the night (1-1) but they need two more goals as they trail on aggregate (2-1) and Dnipro have an away goal.
Lazio got dumped out in Bulgaria despite leading 2-0 and 3-2 on the night.
Napoli prevailed against Swansea.
That chap Liverpool tried to sign in January has just hit the post for Dnipro from an impressive freekick variation.
Some mad bastard sent off for headbutting Vertonghen. He scored their goal with a header too. Likes using his forehead obviously.

The Napoli game was fantastic entertainment and Swansea were dreadfully unlucky not to go 2-1 up on a few occasions and kill the tie off. Napoli did kill the game off in the dying moments as Swansea were upfield looking for an equaliser, in truth they were presented with at least three 2 on 1 situations as the Swans drove forward but fluffed each one. That is two tough defeats for Swansea in a matters of days after playing really well.
