The Prestigious Europa League 2013/14

2-1 Adebayor.

Should be a good finish to this now. Still plenty of time for Spurs. 65 minutes gone.

Great celebration from Tiger Tim on the touchline.

Class goal by Adebayor again. 3-1.

I think it’s worth pointing out that Vertonghen is shit.

Do the winners of this competition qualify for next season’s champions league?

Dnipro will be kicking themselves here. Soldado should have been sent off in the first half when it was scoreless and Vertonghen wound yer man up before hitting the deck when he was headbutted*.

  • if you could call it a headbutt.

No. I want Tiger Tim’s Tottenham to go all the way. What a salute to the legends of '84 like Crooksy it would be to win again this year.

If an English club win it next year does that mean only top 3 make champions league from the premier league?

It’s a Thursday triumph for Tiger Tim’s tenacious Tottenham team.

May there be many more Thursday tussles for them this term.

Top four still qualify, the Europa League winners get an extra place as far as I know.

Porto-Napoli

Swansea very unlucky… Napoli were good in opening 20 minutes and after that Swansea were the better team…was surprised with how average Napoli are…thought they would be better at home…Napoli’s center halves couldn’t handle the strength of Wilfred bony…Higuain is a crock of shit…he needs about 5 chances to score one…

Higuain is top class and I’ve been immensely impressed with the quality of his all round game since he joined Napoli.

any particular reason why you only put up half of the last 16 draw pal?..

Yes. I thought these were the most attractive ties.

Great finish by Rodrigo there at the Lane. Weren’t United linked with him at one stage?

He spent a season on loan at Bolton a couple of years back

Ah that’s it yeah. He’s a really good striker now.

Haven’t seen much of him but he scores some ridiculously good goals.

Smashing celebration from Jorge Jesus on the line.
