The Prestigious Europa League 2014/2015 thread

Dundalk powered to a 2-0 win in Esch-sur Alzette against AS Jeunesse Esch this evening in the first leg of the first qualifying round tie between the two clubs.
All hope looks lost for the most successful club in the country’s history, but they’ll give it a go in the second leg I’m sure.

Were you at it, Piles?

Good win for Dundalk anyway.

I wasn’t Thraw, it kicked off at 5.45, still in work at that stage.
A couple of heads I know went, said Dundalk played some decent stuff.

Shane Long has fucked up a load of chances for Hull tonight according to George Caulkin of The Times on twitter. They need a goal in the last 20 minutes or they’re out.

Hull 2-1 up now with less than 10 mins to play.

Hoping Celtic get Legia Warsaw in our group. Can’t wait to see how Ronny’s team develops over the course of the season.

The final is in Warsaw.

We’ll get a warm welcome if, as expected, we get that far

Good draw for Celtic so far.

that was a cracking draw:clap:

Red Bull Salzburg vs Celtic the “highlight” of tomorrow’s fixtures.

6pm kick off live on Setanta Ireland

Lustig, Matthews, Mulgrew, Forrest, Fisher and the ineligible Guidetti are all unavailable tomorrow.

We should start Guidetti anyway. UEFA won’t want to be disrupting the sporting integrity of their competitions again.

Anyone know what Austrian station are covering this?

7/1 for a Celtic win tonight.

I’m tempted

Wakaso for Tonev is the only change from Saturday, as far as I can tell. A Celtic debut for the Ghanaian.

What a goal!

Excellently worked and brilliant strike by Wakaso to finish.

Incredible save by Gordon. Fucking fantastic.

1-1

That had been coming, we are awfully poor at the back.

1-1. Better team until we scored and we’ve looked panicky and on the verge of conceding since then. Denayer slipped and Ambrose coming across to cover deflected it past Gordon.

Izaguirre is awful yet again.
