With their eye on the league, they really needed an away goal there tonight and Villarreal are a very well organised side who are really mean at the back. If they conceded in the San Paolo then I think they are done for.
I’d be less pessmistic about Fiorentina’s chances, these days playing away from home in the second leg is more of an advantage I feel. The away goals rule needs to be scrapped ASAP for me, it’s completely outdated and makes playing at home more of a handicap than anything.
