Apparently Milan are going to withdraw from the EL this year due to FFP. Roma will go straight into the group stage and Torino will replace them.

Poor enough league now. It was a surprise that Piast won it ahead of Legia. They have played Europa league in the last two seasons losing to Qarabag 3-4 two years ago and to Goteborg 0-3 last season. Mark Hateley’s son Tom plays for them. The have some Spanish lad who’s handy, Jorge Felix.

choice of venue will be interesting for Cork
in 98 Shels had to forfeit home advantage to Prenton Park where they were 3-0 up and lots 5-3 - 2nd leg was in Ibrox
