Two outstanding goals by Elyounoussi. Celtic have been really dangerous on the break, some great combination play. Another bad mistake by Duffy, no need to tackle yer man and he heading away from goal.
That was a very good half from Celtic.
Duffy aside, we’ve defended well. The two full backs are playing really well defensively and in attack. Brown looks his age a but we need him there beside McGregor when we’re under pressure. Ntcham is having a fine game.
Much better discipline off the ball. Our shape is good and we’ve put pressure on in the right areas with the full backs winning the ball well.
Ajeti had a tough start to the game but has grown into it and is playing well. Elyounoussi took his goals superbly and is getting into the box really well. Christie has been quiet but he’s tracking their runs well.
Good on the front foot this evening, played some really nice football.
Car crash at the back.
Duffy needs to be subbed.
I think we’ve been decent at the back other than Duffy. Maybe a bit ropey on a couple of corners but our shape has been good.
First goal
Second goal
Ajer off. Mouthing “hamstring” when he was down.
Lille really turning the screw here.
Ntcham starting to look tired.
Me and a colleague got chatting today during a brief gap in the flights at the buzzing T1 in DUB about the worst association football match we’ve ever attended. His was Man Utd vs Lille 2005 Champions League (0-0). Mine was As Monaco vs Lille 20dont remember Ligue 1 (0-0)
Fuck Lille
1-2. A messy set piece concession is annoying after repelling so many attacks since half time.
Fuck that

Lennon out!
That goal was fairly unlucky. Brown got the ball first and kinda hit it off yer man’s wild swing. That said, Celtic have looked out on their feet from around 60/65 minutes in. Lille getting loads of room around the edge of the box and it was a matter of time before Celtic conceded.
Draw wouldn’t be a terrible result if ye hang on.
Niall Quinn is an awful FAI shill now
Flesh that out please re the FAI
Dundalk were complaining about the amount of fixtures they’ve had lately (this will be their 5th in 13 days) and Quinn came out to bat for the FAI and basically told them to stop whingeing
