Man Utd finding it very hard to get up for this tie after the high of last Sunday .
This is the normal level of performance from what I’ve seen. The only thing they can do well is on the odd occasion when they can defend and counter for the whole game
I remember when Citeh were an average side, mid table at best. The Derby would come along, and average players like Curle, Morrisson, Weaver, the Brightwells, SWP would suddently transform into world beaters and from time to time turn over the obviously superior side. I guess the occasion being so big could life generally average players to turn in above average performances.
Then the following week would come, and they’d be stuffed by someone rubbish like West Ham or Charlton.
