I thought that Omonia were linked with Pana in Athens hence the green shamrock?
youd see it a lot out there, say someone like AEK Larnaca, the K refers to refugees from constantinople , AEK athens would be the same and are linked also with PAOK
another feature of cypriot clubs is the huge influx of spaniards and portugeeses in the teams
BTW Cillian Sheridan is sound, met him in pub in tel aviv after the APOEL game in 2013

in september 2011 i attended a europa league game between Maccabi haifa and AEK Larnaca, it was a 0-0 draw as was the 2013 game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and APOEL Nicosia, both games kicked off at 10pm
