The Prestigous Europa League thread 2022/2023

Brighton are losing at home to a Greek team. FC Biggles/Bohs beat a Greek team in Europe a couple of years ago. Think Shamrock Rovers were in a Europa League group with PAOK when Michael O’ Neill was in charge.

Kudus, Paqueta, Bowen with the big man Antonio up front is a quality and coherent forward line.

Moyes has built the squad really well. We all saw Kudus at World Cup. Paqueta the Brazil 10 and Bowen was very good for Hull.

Sometimes its good to keep it simple.

Pretty sure West Ham have a fella doing the signings.

Moyes wanted Maguire during the summer and the transfer guy wasn’t too keen i remember reading.

USG keeper tried to give one away already

Thats a penalty. USG getting rode bareback here

Looked a fairly blatant shove in the back

Meh, twas light enough contact on second viewing

They didn’t even check it. Absolutely bizarre

Twas but why was he putting hands on him at all. Silly

2-0 probably not that deserved in all fairness. Fairly ordinary performance tonight.

Amani must have been on the -1

They’re not a bad team either to be fair. Europa League quarter-finalists last season. Can be hard for big teams to rouse themselves for a run of the mill Europa League group game too.

Liverpool never got out of second gear

Lots of legs rested for a very tricky game on Sunday. Brighton have had their number last couple of years.

Aguerd is having a blinder here
