The Professional Darts Corporation's "Premier League Darts" Tournament

Whitlock falls asunder yet again having taken a 3-0 lead early on. Pathetic stuff from the Aussie, i could have seen it. King with the match at his mercy now…

Sensational stuff from the Wizard to storm back into the match by winning the last few legs and steling the match from under Kings nose!! I thought he was done for, he hit 14/1 in-running at one stage i believe…

 :pint:

that was easily the best whitlock has played since world championship. baxter barney match should be left alone as both are very hot and cold. lewis is the bet tonight to beat taylor. lewis is on fire last couple of months on circuit and phil has not being at his imperious best (average wise) in league as of yet.

I actually had a nice bet on Baxter there to beat Barney as i thought his price was huge @ 14/5 on Betfair. He is consistently under-rated and i’m happy to keep making money off him while this is happening. Unfortunately though i layed off a fair bit of my profit in-running in the event that he’d collapse. I always like to protect my stake where possible, should have probably chanced my arm on that one though. Barney is finished, living on repuation at this stage. He should be layed nearly every week while they continue to over-estimate him.

I don’t think Lewis has a hope tonight. He was utterly putrid against Baxter last week and was incredibly fortunate to steal that one at the death. Don’t be fooled by that. Taylor 1/3 before the match starts, that’s a very good price but backing at those sort of odds wouldn’t be my thing. I’m hoping Lewis is fast out of the traps and takes an early lead, i’ll be backing the Power if his odds come closer to the evens mark…

Lewis took a 2-0 lead, Taylor briefly hit 10/11. I wasn’t quick enough and failed to get matched!!

2-2 now…

Simon Whitlock - he has a stupidly long ponytail, but he is the man.

King is sporting a ridiculous looking moustache these days, he looks more like a bus inspector than a darts player…

Nobody watches this any more, Dunph. Time to move on.

i was watching but did’nt see the thread. whitlock is getting stronger and stronger. wade did me a huge turn tonight, lumped on and greened out at 1.23. badly needed after disaster that was aintree day 1.

I nearly backed him myself after he inexplicably went 9/4 during the first leg. He had been i suppose a best priced 6/4 to win the match before it started and then for him to drift to 9/4 before a leg had even been won, and this on Kings throw was ludicrous. Still i couldn’t quite bring myself to back the flakey cunt…

i backed him at 2.6 something just before start. he difted after his first 6 darts which were shocking. think layers thought he might have being on the sauce (not unknown). he was a great price as he needs points badly to make playoff and so you knew he’d be focused. james wade’s A game would beat anyone bar Taylor. i have said it many times, but wade is an exceptional talent when focused.

some value to be had tonight. whitlock at odds against is buying money versus barney. wade should be backed at 6-1 against the power. if he starts well should be able to green out. baxter great price against king. be lucky

10 darter from lewis. top class darts

the bull on fire tonight. God bless darts

James Wade is pure class. He is the only one capable of living with Taylor’s A game. Wade must be a cracking ew bet for world championship.

Missed all this tonight and haven’t checked results yet, just in the door. Can you summarise what happened, fenners?

From what i can gather reading your posts, Wade and Jenkins must have won. I’m shocked if Jenkins won, that’s right out of left field. In the other matches i fancied Whitlock at odds against and Baxter at 5/2.

jenkins beat lewis 8-5
Baxter and King 7-7
Wade and Taylor 7-7, wade was 6-3 up and traded at 1.16 on the machine.
whitlock and Barney 8-6, barney showed good bottle to fightback from 7-4 and was unlucky not to get a point. the standard in this match and wade-taylor was exceptional

Whitlock appears to be finding some form now. Lewis must have been atrocious was he?

What sort of match was Baxter v King? A humdinger i bet. Baxter is always good to watch and King always gives it his all.

Wade is still shit i don’t care what anyone says…
