The Public Transport Plan Announcement Thread

I’m only repeating myself now. But I could do it all my life easily on the same day up to a couple of years ago. You’d imagine under the current transport climate, service would improve and not dis-improve.

I only wanted to go to an ould league match.

They could throw on an auld special for the day

With a shuttle bus from Clonmel, stopping in Callan for a few pints if time allowed.

I was going to get the train down to this myself, but I see how it’s on tv so I think I’ll leave it at that.

You said yesterday you don’t like the bus; there is a perfectly acceptable bus service bringing you from the middle of Limerick to Kilkenny with a change in Clonmel. It would allow you to stop in Callan and all.

Will one of @thelimericks just cop the fuck on and offer @habanerocat a lift to the match?

I’m grand, I’ll watch it on the telly as well.

Get a train to Portlaoise and I’ll collect you

Thanks for the offer Mike. I wouldn’t burden you with me for the day. As it turns out I have some work to do.

Thanks again.

You wouldn’t be a burden at all boss. It would be my pleasure. I’m 20 minutes from Portlaoise .

I might dox you. It’s very fashionable at the moment.

I’ll watch it on the telly.
Enjoy the match.
Hope it’s not too wet.

If you change your mind, let me know

Drive from Portlaoise to Kilkenny is approx 50 minutes (50km).

That 50 km journey on Irish rail is 3 hrs 18 minutes

They’re on different lines, you’d be an awful fool to make that journey by rail

anywhere in d2 basically if you left now - obviously though, with schools being off there are less cagers on the road so its normally worse
