The Public Transport Plan Announcement Thread

On the top graphic it says it takes 17 mins to cycle and the bottom one it says 16 minutes. You said you’d do it in 10? Also if you went by cage this morning you’d arrive dry.

Edit. I see a bit of ninja editing going on here.

yeah, im factoring in my elite cycling speed & also the fact that Im not made of sugar so i dont dissolve in rain

Yes indeed. I might use elite driving speed and not end up at my destination smelling like Pooch the stray dog.

A shortish cycle - 15-20 mins or so - in the rain is no bother with wetgear. It’s actually rare enough you’d even need the wetpants in Dublin. It’s one of those things that people dislike the idea of but that is actually grand once you’ve done it.

As a former Christmas & holiday relief postman on the Wexford “Town 3” route, I’m not afraid of cycling in the rain. Not one bit afraid.

@Tim_Riggins will be upset that he can’t blame the stables this time

The climate bill should have put an end to this nonsense, trebling capacity and taking 1000s of cars off the road or a hardware shop

2024 wants its news back.

Passenger boardings in areas of Dublin where the new BusConnects network has been implemented are up 40% compared to the rest of the network, according to a report published today by the National Transport Authority (NTA).

Times not changed greatly for Wexford to Dublin.

Hopefully Rosslare to Waterford opens soon.

Business brisk at Balla Mart there by the looks of things; just pulled in at Manulla Juntion.

I wonder is @Chancer in atrendance in Balla?

What would bring any sane individual to Balla in the name of God?
Apart from being Mayo I know nothing about it. It’ll remain that way.

Your old alias was always familiar with the marts of Connacht.

Indeed rumour has it he rambled as far as Sixmilebridge the occasional Saturday.
A mad bastard.
