Yes. The Dartmouth Square objectors have mugged the other Dartmouth Square residents off nicely. Sold their homes to TII for a pretty penny, withdrew the judicial review and will fuck off to nicer climes leaving the non objectors to deal with the traffic and the not unimportant question of what will happen the 12 houses on the square in public ownership.
The mixed doubles league in David Lloyds place in Riverview will definitely have an edge to them over the summer when the newly minted residents rock up for their games🤣
I wonder were all the objectors on the same side of the square where the depot/yard is planned for.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the houses if they are all in row.
All protected structures so they won’t be demolished.
Good pragmatic approach by DCC prob cost the guts of 30 mill
Yes but they will have assets worth 30m in which they can house homeless families.
In fairness, they could sell them for a profit in a few years

Yep. I’d guess it will still be a very desirable place to live once the work is done.
10 houses at 2.5m a piece apparently
Realistically they should hold them and sell them over time for a profit but I can see these houses becoming a bit of a focal point for certain agendas.
Be a grand spot for a drug injection centre

This made me laugh. There’s huge traffic problems on the M50 so let’s start a boat service form Dun Laoghaire to Dublin Port even though there’s a decent Dart service there. What idiots voted these clowns in

Commuting by water is a common approach used around the world and should be considered here, say two Fine Gael representatives.
I don’t know is it that bananas an idea
Is there loads of surplus capacity on the dart…or are they rammed by the time they get to DL?
They are doubling the capacity of the dart
No idea if that’s a service that would assist many people but surely any additional public transport capacity is a good thing? I don’t get why they’re clowns to suggest it?
Getting the Luas to Leopardstown this morning. 3rd world shit.
