The Race for a Vaccine. The Road to Demaskus

What are you doing to yourself listening to Brendan O Connor.

We’re all getting hopes jabs to ease the worry index

Only fair that at least one in 100 of the vaccines contains agents that give you botulism or at the very least a severe dose of the shits to keep the populace on their toes and the worry index above the mendoza line

I have mentioned thats the HPRA can approve the vaccine for use as per a Product authorisation. They can do this now if pushed by goverment.

The British are doing this for roll out in December. As they are technically still in the EU we can take option 2 which recognises the license in another EU member.

I suspect we are waiting for the EU central licence. This is taking more time hence it won’t be till January we have it. All 3 options are based on the same standard. The EU is great with having a standard across the union thankfully.

Once they come up with one for repetitive banality you’ll be good to go.

You’d want your head examined not to take a vaccine.

They’ll need an equine dosing syringe to reach you under the bed.

Moderna’s phase 3 analysis involved 30,000 people in the US, half given the vaccine and half a placebo, and 196 of them became ill. Thirty people became severely ill and one died, but none of those had been given Moderna’s vaccine. The trials included substantial numbers of people in the most at-risk groups, with 7,000 people over 65 and more than 5,000 younger people with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, severe obesity and cardiac disease.

It’s inevitable the HSE will balls this up, yes?

Have faith young cohai.

I can’t put my finger on why, but I just don’t have a lot of faith in them
