What? Thatâs mad. The people in nursing homes are a greater risk of infecting vulnerable people. Itâs all the vulnerable people gathered up on one spot. And theyâre the most at risk of death. Are you mad?
Someone whoâs 80 in a nursing home has a life expectancy of 6 months. Someoneâs whoâs 80 and in good health has a life expectancy of about 7 years
Many people in nursing homes live there for quite a few years but thatâs not the point. You get that nursing homes are all the most vulnerable people gathered up in the one spot and that people are the vector? It obviously makes sense that thatâs where you concentrate your efforts. Thatâs why NPHET not considering nursing homes for months is so appalling.
Who is up next for approval after Pfizer?
Can you get the Russian vaccine if you want?
The Russians and North Koreans have been hacking anyone linked to vaccine development, approval and transport.
Good stuff.
Science sorted it out for us. God bless science all the same.
Will you take the vaccine ?
Russia won the space race and the vaccine race .
Youâre for saving human lives and killing unborn babies ? A conflicted tran you must be .
Of course. Why wouldnât you?
I would be worried they are rushing it out.
What kind of quality assurance would you do before double dropping yokes or snorting lines?
If the vaccine was a tablet I wouldnât think twice. I would be more worried about needles.
They arenât been rushed out. The Moderna vaccine was developed over one weekend and finished on January 15th, thereâs an argument it should have been rushed out then to those most at risk.
While Iâm not surprised Matthias in Munich is still looking through âthe dataâ with a tooth comb, Iâm amazed Trump hasnât started pumping it into millions yet
No sense in that at all.

A health officialâs warning that anyone getting vaccinated against Covid-19 should give up alcohol for almost two months has sparked backlash.
Reuters reports:
Anna Poppintree , head of the health authority watchdog, told the RTE radio station on Tuesday that people should stop drinking alcohol at least two weeks before getting the first of two injections. They should continue to abstain for a further 42 days, she advised.
The vaccine under an accelerated process will be given to doctors, healthcare workers teachers and social workers in the first instance with a large-scale nationwide roll out due to begin at the end of the month. There are 21 days between the two vaccine jabs.
âThis really bothers me,â said @mac , a Wexford resident. âIâm unlikely to not be able to drink for 80 days and I reckon the stress on the body of giving up alcohol, especially during what is a festive period, would be worse than the [side effects of the] vaccine and its alleged benefits,â he said.
âFuck Tippâ said local drunk @BruidheanChaorthainn, when asked to comment.
