The powers in the NHS have done the brits proud. We can all laugh at the clown borris but but the real civil servants over there are delivering. I had a conversation with a “journalist” who was widely referred to over Christmas who was on the brit bashing wagon over them approving the vaccine ahead of Europe. He got very defensive when I told him the reality of the approval process and we could have done the same (as can any other EU country). He didn’t have a clue.

Also, daily testing of 23,000 shouldn’t be alarming. Weren’t we told back in March they needed time to build out the testing and the contact tracing capability? Every time we have a surge the lack of action is exposed.

There’s any amount of criticism of the testing. The definition of a 'case’s was conveniently changed to start with, then the tests were made twice as sensitive as they should have been etc etc. It’s a complete fraud
