Thing is Ali did plenty of stuff that crossed the line as well. Worse really than what McGregor said to Siver because his comments about someone like Frazier were taken seriously, and had a real lasting effect on Frazier’s life.
There was much more to Ali than to McGregor, but he was still a loud mouth cunt talking shit about people to sell tickets. Is that behaviour what McKenna has a problem with, or is it that McGregor isn’t charming nor intelligent enough for his taste?

McGregor is, I suspect, a decent lad who has got it too far into his head that he can only sell his fights by being “controversial” and trash talking.
I don’t think it’s the case anymore, though surely it is what got him noticed, as he has had only a handful of bouts, so it’s hardly solely the fighting.
Someone needs to sit him down and calm him a bit after his next fight.
My worry is that he will make a fortune, rattle through it through generosity and poor advice, and end up unloved and poor. I hope not though.
I simply cannot believe someone like you is supporting this comparision.
Fuck the foul mouthing. I’m talking about talent and career success. McGregor may do well but its likely he’ll disappear after one defeat. He will never match Ali’s sporting achievments or his popularity. Ali trancends cultures and race and class. McGregor will never do that.
