Had he of taken the two barrels of Nallys shotgun from the other side of the ‘octogon’ he wouldn’t be feeling as sore today.

Yeah the top boxer’s out there would be lucky to make that never mind some dope in a niche sport

Alright sort Nally wouldn’t have given him the chance to “tap out”

His image in that game is everything though, hopefully he can reinvent himself but it won’t be a title shot at 155 pounds. He’ll have to fight Edgar and possibly Aldo again before that back down at 145.

All that matters really is that he is off the dole, and unlikely to get it again in the near future.

That’s surely a good thing, pity a few more aren’t like him in this country.[quote=“HBV, post:348, topic:20774, full:true”]

No. No interest in UFC.

Just remarking on @HBV glorying in his defeat.

Irish people hate arrogance and cockiness in other people.

When any person who is arrogant or cocky falls flat on their face after giving it the big 'un they can expect some well deserved flak.

Link below 2.8m career earnings before pay per view and deductions

Say 1m PPV customers at 60 dollars a go - he is not getting more than another 1m from that I would guess

http://mma-manifesto.com/ufc-fighter-salary-database/salary-main/conor-mcgregor-career-earnings.html

Management fees 20 per cent
Tax at 30 per cent
Other deductions Medicals, training fees, insurance, entourage to support

He is doing well but I suspect the net number is a lot less than the reported 10m

Not to mention he has probably blown the bulk of it as well in order to garner his image.

FFS…and fyi, I’ve said it here countless times, I’m no fan of his. I’ve nothing against him either but I was delighted for Diaz last night asMcGregor’s thrash talking had got beyond boring. Hopefully this opens the door to a new persona for Conor and we can really look up to him as an Irish hero then.

Talking to a fella today at the game who said he didnt mind McGregor all that much but that he was delighted to see him bet so he could be “taken down a peg or two”.

The most Irish statement I’ve heard in a long long time.

More like “two taps”

Ah yeah…you have fellas like @hbv giving it big licks on most threads here about lads going out there and making something of themselves and being successful, buying a flash motor and enjoying the trappings of their success… You’d think Conor would be a poster boy for him but instead he is consumed with hatred and demands Conor fail…
