The Rapist Conor McGregor Club Sponsored By Fossett's šŸ

It was two seperate points that were unrelated. Stop trying to twist my words.

Heā€™s most likely guilty of rape.

She was with someone, and was flirting with a celebrity.

Not related. Didnā€™t bring it on herself. Didnā€™t go looking for it.

Heā€™s a scumbag.

ā€˜Got more than she bargained forā€™ was a funny expression.

Thatā€™s putting it mildly.

No case is a slam dunk and thatā€™s not the standard to be met.

Thatā€™s a very child like take on it.

It depends. Is it worse for DPP to bring case and lose it? The Jackson case was brought despite it not reaching usual tests to go forward (reasons for that are open to speculation) and was thrown out by jury very quickly.

If she loses civil case the DPP decision is justified given lower standard.

How would it look if and when he was found not guilty in a criminal trial?

The standard for a criminal trial is what you are talking about here.

There is medical evidence that cannot be ignored, but you also cannot ignore the CCTV. You also cannot ignore the accounts of 3 people (plus the security who were on the stand today).

Lads need to educate themselves

We donā€™t get to know the DPPs reasoning, I donā€™t think.

It may have varied a bit but Iā€™m certain that in recent years only about 10% of victims of raped or serious sexual assault reported it.

Only about 10% of reported rapes or sexual assault result in a conviction.

If the DPP doesnā€™t see the medical evidence in this case as sufficient to prosecute then most victims might as well give up at first instance.

Each case is treated on individual merit.
Mike thinks the DPP is advertising for future business ffs

I donā€™t think you know what youā€™re talking about to the honest, the standard is reasonable chance of a conviction.

I only heard the radio reporting of McGregor on the stand today and in my view his testimony is fairly in the claimants favour.

In your view.

You are ignoring that you have 3 people there within a few feet of one another who largely have the same recall of events (the one difference Iā€™ve picked up is relations between Kealy and Lawrence, which largely seems inconsequential).

You are ignoring the CCTV which reflects far more of the narrative of the defense than hers.

Of course we are not in the court room, so how people perceive the witnesses is critical too.

Like others, Iā€™m fairly sure he did it. But you arenā€™t better than others because you inject emotion and notions about yourself to the proceedings.

Be careful youā€™ll significantly reduce TFK traffic if they do

Whatā€™s the chances of this wan getting any cash out of this scumbag if she wins this case?

I also go night swimming with women. Iā€™m hydrofluid.

You did though. Intimating that Iā€™m a prospective member of the misogyny club is calling me a misogynist.
Itā€™d be like me saying ā€˜oh check out glas trying to get down with all the rapistsā€™. In fact, your behaviour on this thread is quite mcgregoresque.

The other lady said Hand kept coming in to her bedroom from the room she was in with McGregor and didnā€™t seem distressed. Mrs Hand also wanted everyone to stay on instead of going home. You then have the cctv footage of her kissing McGregors arm as they were leaving and other footage of her doing a celebratory dance in the carpark.

All very odd.

Civil case, so thats pretty much all its about (outside the obvious), money. It will come down then to how much really.

It would like the authorities believed her and tried to get justice for her.
