No but even someone with a cursory interest in crime knows that it doesn’t make it a slam dunk.

Whether he gets off on the civil standard is one thing, but it is clear as day why the DPP did not think the criminal burden of proof could be met.

What about how it looks to other victims of rape. The evidence includes medical professionals’ belief that an assault took place, photos of bruising all over her, the tampon. It’s a fucking disgrace no case was brought because of the implications it has on others coming forward. Scandalous.
