So I asked @TheUlteriorMotive this the other day. The line was his DNA was excluded. I wasn’t sure if that meant they didn’t look for it, or didn’t find any of it.

Earlier the court heard that DNA matches for Conor McGregor were obtained from semen swabs taken from Ms Hand’s vagina and a black jumpsuit she had been wearing.

Dr Charlotte Murphy of Forensic Science Ireland said the profiles were 1,000 million times more likely to be a match for Conor McGregor than not.

However, she said McGregor’s associate James Lawrence was “excluded as a possible contributor” to the DNA profiles obtained.

Nothing to report of significance this morning beyond some medical expert explaining how some bruising shows up within an hour or two and some can take 6+ hours. The McGregor crew were trying to put doubt in bruising that was seen at 11pm Sunday night and when an incident could have occured to cause it. The medical lad basically said it could have been any time. Very weak argument.

What he did say that is more interesting is that he’s treated multiple women who have had infections from leaving tampons in too long and who have had sex with the tampon in. In a surprisingly large amount of cases both the male and female didn’t realize the tampon was in while banging away

Nothing now until Tuesday when both legal sides present their final summary and the judge will give the jury the instructions by which to make a decision.

I’m only guessing but it could help McGregors statement that there was no tampon present which might soften some of the sentiment of the assault for the jury.

Or it might help her because it’s easily forgot you’ve one inside you according to this fella.

Or maybe they’re just trying to make the tampon thing a non issue and far more normal than people might think.

I’ll defer to the legal experts for their interpretation and I’ll stick to the facts!
