I very much doubt he’s finished in Ireland. He has a huge following and they aren’t going to suddenly shut up. The country is very likely to change for the worse politically over the coming years - politics will become much more feral and right wing and stupid, and that will benefit him too.

Never bought the Proper 12, but Id imagine it’s alright, as it’s distilled by Bushmills, which Ive always found to be a solid whiskey. You ll find alot of the smaller distilleries first few years of whisky sales are Bushmills or Cooley products with a niche artisan labels on the bottles.
