Some show, in fairness. In all reality the jurors have listened to the evidence, taken direction from the judge, observed the demeanor of both complainant and defendant, etc, etc. Not one of them knows what exactly happened*, if anything they can’t have much more than a good sense of what went on…but they’ve made a decision based on the balance of probabilities, based in turn, on all of the above. And they’ve arrived at, what is probably a slightly disappointing win for the complainant, but an absolutely huge loss for mcgregor- a lad who’ll impose his coked up ego upon some sort of populist template , central to which will be ‘protecting our wimmin from’, etc, etc.
And fuck his appeal. His balaclava’d goons will have put that to bed.

I’ve heard a few stories about the Black Forge.

Jesus Dee Devlin is fairly under the control of McGregor.
He admits cheating on her with rough sex, accused of rape and she turns up with him to show her support.
Apparently her family despise McGregor as they are very decent, salt of the earth types. They tried everything to keep her away from him initially as teenagers but she was hooked.
If any party runs on a policy of turning the Black Forge Inn into emergency accomodation for asylum seekers, they have my vote.
McGregor has been cute enough not to marry her too.
