Meā¦ I love me country.
True, and I wonāt be lectured to by some fish frying, ice cream selling cunt.
The script must have leaked because despite everyone saying that Diaz would hammer him the bookies had McGregor priced as odds on favourite and he did indeed pull off a āshockā win.
Does anyone think thereāll be a rematch here? I canāt help but think there might be. Would a rematch be financially
viable or would it be only be purist UFC fans that would want to see it?
I believe the ex Home & Away script writer is doing wonderful things in the UFC.
I think there will be. But theyāll let them use tables and chairs or something to keep it interesting.
Itās not Italian soccer. No script writing here.
Iād say UFC would like to see McGregor fight Aldo then a rematch with Diaz at 155kg with McGregor leaving the lower division for good.
Huh.
Everyone was saying Nate Dogg was going to regulate McGregor but the bookies were able to call it correctly and that McGregor would win.
Italian football never fixed the results, in the calciopoli scandal it was all about referees who would conveniently book key players who would be suspended for the next game against the teams involved. It was subtle and a full investigation was carried out with the protagonists punished, UFC engage in blatant mafia fixing.
Iād say they wonāt fight again or not for a good while anyway. Conor will want title fights
Dead right. The mafia never fixed an Italian football match.
Never.
When Conor wakes up heāll be pumped to see this thread at the top of the board.
Well done Conor
A great day for Ireland
Agreed.
A great day for layabouts to sleep in till 1pm & generally be a waste of space.
Hope there arenāt any WWE main events on late tonight.
Up there with the greatest moments in Irish sport. Epic.
is he Irelands most famous sportsperson ever?
Id say so
and he backs it up too
Daniel Day Lewis in The Boxer type sportsman famous?
Easily. A household name in every countryā¦ Itās great for the sport in this country.
I was out early this morning and I saw a group of lads who were obviously inspired by the great man pummeling several shades of shit out of their āopponentā just off the Hyde road, lovely to see young fellas these days getting into a sport instead of being out causing trouble and robbing houses.
God bless MMA.
