A modern day Hulk Hogan. A real beacon of success in the sporting world.
He’s inspired you anyway, pal. You can’t stop posting about him. Welcome aboard.
And powder, pills & cans of Dutch Gold. The average MMA fan couldn’t stay awake to see these Actors strut their stuff otherwise.
The Queen is dead. Long live the King
What was the attendance for this ‘fight’?
FULL (full) house.
@caoimhaoin Where’s the free money gone?? @Watch_The_Break I look forward to your review of the bout because myself and @ChocolateMice aside it’s the only MMA related one that matters a shit around here.
Just watching it back… He clearly won 1+4 and edged 2. Got killed in 3 and the final round was even enough until the take down. Conor was very composed compared to the last fight and his take down defence has really come on.
The only views on MMA that matter a shit around here. Brilliant.
Congrats, pal. Thrilled for you.
Have not seen it but any neutral and most MMA guys seem to think Diaz won.
However i will try and watch with balance and non comfirmation bias.
Either way he deserves credit for learning lessons and improving.
He is still a bellend and a large % of his followers are maggots. Thats never changing.
For what its worth, and from what i know, i’m the only guy here who has actual taken part in the sport, trained combat athletes and programmed for MMA fighters.
Sweep, Sweep.
Fact. Beat Aldo and he may earn another shot at 155 before moving back up to 165. The three belt holder dream lives on.
You can watch it on the link I posted. And most neutrals don’t think Diaz won, you’re talking shite. It was a very close fight but you could really only say Diaz won 3&5.
What way did Helwani call the fight?
He will never fight above 155 again, 168 is the biggest he can get while still being fight effective whereas the naturally bigger guys will have up to nearly 20 pounds on him up there come fight time. His punching power at 155 but especially 145 is crazy.
He gave it to McGregor
Exactly.McGregor dominated round one, Round 2 McGregor, Diaz dominated 3 (the judge who scored it 47-47 gave it 10-8) McGregor edged 4 and Diaz edged 5.
Maybe so. He’d have a decent chance against Lawler but not the other beasts.
@bandage - Helwani- Tough final round to score but I think Diaz got it, capped off by his first TD in the final seconds. So that’s 48-47 McGregor, IMO.
