This is a gimmick fight and Mayweather is 49-0 he’s not going to lose for the first time to this chump. I thought he’d be 1/50 or something.

Looking at oddschecker history Mayweather opened up 1/33 with Skybet, 1/25 with Bet365 and 1/20 with Boylesports. So those prices would be an indication of something closer to his ‘real price’. I’d even go as far as to say something shorter than that because the bookies will be conscious not to offer something stupid on the other side because all of his many fan boys across the world may well back him. Paddy Power were 1/9 day one but understandable they’d wanted to be shortest price across the industry on McGregor due to the sheer wave of mug money they’ll be attracting from Oireland on McGregor. So McGregor was anything from 9/1 to 11/1 at the start and you’d imagine almost all the traffic is only going to have been coming for him with mugs putting their tenners and twenties on him. But Mayweather looks incredibly attractive now at odds of 1/5. If he had one hand tied behind his back he’d still be favourite.
I’d say the odds will even out soon enough with the smart people seeing the odds and going big on Mayweather

It’s a novice boxer against a hall of famer. No way Mayweather loses unless he throws the fight, which he won’t, or there’s some sort of freak incident. Like Floyd falling out of the ring or something.
McGregor won’t last 12 rounds unless Floyd wants him to.
