really looking forward to this aspect of the event. the amateur ‘fight game’ analysts will be the sideshow here. on the one hand lauding the event as a circus to cover themselves, on the other unable to prevent themselves from portraying some knowledge of what might happen with little nuggets like this.
the best bit of any of mcgregors fights was when some beach bum with 3 loses in his 5 previous fights strangled the little cunt into submission and the analysts logged on the next morning referring to how they always had a soft spot for ‘Nate’ (first name) and his ground game and how they were delighted for him. none of them had heard of him 2 weeks beforehand.

Ah he has unbeluevable “talent”. His physical abilities are insane. Not that cold metrics are the only barometer but he is pretty much Elite in every ohysical performance assessment there is.
He has worked hard, but genetically he is different to pretty much anyone i have seen tested

I don’t buy that argument.
Mayweather is unlikely to go and change his style too much. So he is reserved.
He won’t hurt McGrehor too much with single punches or short combos.
He will be worried about a lucky punch.
So a 12 rd win is a serious possibility
I do not see how this is bad for boxing. And were McGrrgor to defy logic and win then it could kickstart boxing into something different.

What assessment results are out there on McGregor and what’s he measuring against? I’ve seen this mentioned once or twice from various people but no hard facts.
There is an ESPN tv show that tests athletes. He blew away a few of the elites in a couple of catogaries.
Then there is all, and it is pretgy much all, boxers and other sparring partners that say he hits like a truck but with speed

It’s a farce. Combat sports are a farce if you consider them sports.
However nobody gets hung up on Tom Cruise getting paid 50m for a movie. People get hung up on these entertainers getting paid. McGregor is contracted to UFC like a 30s Hollywood starlet.
In fairness Tom Cruise does his own stunts.
