In The Sunday Games piece on Dublin Funding a couple of weeks ago Tom Ryan said Dublin percentage of overall Coaching and Games Funding received was 15% down from 17% last year. That doesn’t really correlate with Ewan’s excel spreadsheet.

The peoples hero for winning a golfing tournament. Are we really so stuck for heroes? Of course, golf isn’t a sport or anywhere near it and only gets the bloated coverage because of the D4 types running meejia in Oireland.
To be honest, I couldn’t give a shite either way about this golfing win but every second roaster from Awfally saying that this will be a great boost to the Cowen family because of the demise of Bryan is the final straw for me. I hope some fella drops the claret jug when drinking from it tonight.
