The Rugby Thread (Part 1)

Great win today for the province of Leinster. I thoroughly enjoyed my day out at the Aviva. Thanks for the lend of the brown Thomas bag @Funtime

Islamist terrorism is far right

You continually downplay the threat of far right terrorism despite the overwhelming majority of terrorism being far right

Islamist extremism is remarkably close to your worldview

Islamic terrorism is 7th century religious terrorism, yet you continue to defend it.

Closer to home (for you), the lads who killed the journalist and marched on the streets of Dublin in uniform are alt-left, same as yourself. Delusional nutters.

Please quote where I have defended it in any way

Specifics now please

The only delusional nutter here is you

You have actually equivocated aboout Nazis and use actual neo-Nazi talking points

You have a tragic amount of hate in your heart

I have zero hate in my heart. I love my fellow man, even you.

Why did you spend days ranting after Christchurch, a horrible atrocity, and yet not a peep out of you today when hundreds of Christians were blown to pieces by insane Muslims. Do you really hate Christians that much? Was it the Christian brothers that did it to you?

Learn to forgive mate, it’s very liberating.

You admit you don’t hate Nazis

Weird

We all know why that is

Please chaps, this is a rugger thread.

I don’t hate anyone. I hate ideology that drives people to commit appalling atrocities like in Derry last night and Sri Lanka today. You are very selective in the atrocities you condemn and the people you attribute blame to.

You can’t even accept that left wing extremism is as toxic as right wing extremism. They are two sides of the same coin. Lunatics that believe in insane ideology that has killed hundreds of millions.

Watched an enjoyable game between balbriggan and Wicklow there. Good diversity on the balbriggan team

Association football and rugby football are the natural sporting choices for the New Irish.

David mcwilliams was impressed by the diverse nature of the crowd on Tuesday

Always find it sickening how the xenophobia in the gga are so unwelcoming

The preservation of late 19th century British landlord culture is what they’re all about.

This idiot is absolutely delusional. Still banging on about how irish rugby is great because the provinces do well and the Irish coaches are the best in the world and so we’re better than Wales while Wales outdo us at national level consistently.

Blockquote On March 16th, as we all know, Wales sealed the Grand Slam with that 25-7 win over Ireland at a packed Principality Stadium. Well deserved it was, too. Six weeks on, though, and a couple of ensuing events underline how, in truth, Irish rugby remains in a way healthier place overall.

Blockquote All four Irish provinces have qualified for the Guinness Pro14 play-offs, with two, and probably three, in the semi-finals. By contrast, for the first time ever and despite an expanded play-off structure in the last two years, no Welsh side has reached the last six.

How do they outdo us consistently other than winning a couple of more games in a tournament? If they did they would have a higher win % and higher world rankings than us.

I would hardly call Wales consistent. They raise their game in one tournament a year every few seasons.
