The Rugby Thread (Part 1)

I’ve no idea what they’re on about at the minute. They seem bizarrely exercised by all of this. One would have thought “let this be your last post on the matter” was the last plead of a beaten docket, but hey ho.

The Rose of Tralee at the 1987 World Cup was in tribute to absent Ireland Coach Mick Doyle, a Kerryman who suffered a heart attack the night before the tournament started. It was a lovely touch.

I think he got the heart attack after hearing they were switching to the Rose of Tralee as the national anthem.

That’s really mean. Post reported

I havent read that article but my sources tell me that it 100% wont happen for this Christmas but isn’t off the table for future years.

Do folk really think the PUC is needed for Munster to play Leinster seconds over Christmas ?

Lots of things ar christmas arent needed but still get bought

You´ll have wankers saying it can´t happen because of the “tradition” of Stephenses day rubby in Limerick.

This is the first step towards relocating Munster rugby football to Cork permanently. The interest just isn’t there in Limerick, as reflected by their paltry crowds.

This looks like a win-win for all parties. Success starved and financially hard up Cork GAA get a few quid to reduce the colossal stadium debt, the majority of Munster’s players (the non South African ones, I mean) get to play in their home city.

Not under JP’s watch. Limerick is the home of Irish sport

Serious coup. Well done Munster Rugby :clap::clap:

Jobs for the boys

Was always going to be on the cards at some stage. A home semi in the Heino Cup would be the big draw.

Stockdale is a bombscare. Played his part in all 3 England tries

A real Schmidt donkey.
