I’d have said scandalous, but the rubby lads get very touchy if you mention mercenaries.

Kleyn means small
We could call him John Small
However that would create confusion with the Dublin fooballer of the same name, so I suggest we call him Sean Beag
It is. Assumption was Kleyn was in competition with Beirne. Toner had a few injuries last season didnt help his case

Id have picked toner too…but hes mid 30s with a recent poor injury record. Easy see why he wasnt picked…if it was Dillane had been picked fellas wouldnt be feeling half as sorry for Toner. Id have a lot more sympathy for dillane personally
Dillane and beirne are on roller skates in the scrum that’s why they can’t be considered an option imo.
What about Best? Comparatively, he’s hardly been in much better form over the last year, has he?
No other options and I’d say schidmt some everything to get rid of Cronin.
He was v fortunate there wasnt many other decent options. Saved by that and the captaincy.
I didnt see first two warm ups. But he made a heap of tackles off the bench on Saturday. Looked in good nick
