The Rugby Thread (Part 1)

Which players came through English system? Dan Kelly only one I know for sure

Hyde and McNulty as well. Young prospects in England are told that it’s a numbers game and they have a better chance of making it as a professional in Ireland than England, not sure how true that is but it seems to be working as a way of bringing them into the Irish set-up.

Brilliant to see last night. Between the GS last year and the performances so far this year, future continues to look bright for Irish rugby. Munster lads Ahern and Crowley are two unbelievable talents. McNulty, McCann, O Brien are also excellent

Do you think these lads might have what it takes to finally go into unchartered territory and get beyond the final 8 of a competition played by 9 serious teams?

So 3 of the squad?

continues?

did you miss the lat 20 years?

20 years? I’m only referring to the last 6 years or so where we have won 3 Six nations and 1 GS. Alls i’m saying is there’s a lot of good young talent coming up

we were beaten by Japan mate

I get that, the WC was a holy show. Still good young players there though

the last 2 world cups were shit shows

Every world cup was a shit show bar 1991

Beat England tomorrow and they’ll all be world class again, with the World Cup debacle long forgotten.

Regardless of the WC and all before it, i’ll be an ecstatic man any time we beat England in Twickenham

It would mean the world to CJ, Bundee and Herring alright.

What they dreamed of growing up.

Forget about the players, twud mean a lot to the supporters. Especially after that embarrassment there before the WC. What I wouldn’t give to walk all over the cunts

Your petty xenophobia is holding back Irish rugby
