Yes 3 of the 23 came through the English system, the same number as came though Blackrock. None from Connacht, 2 from Munster, 4 from Ulster. Hard to see how Connacht and Munster won’t become even more reliant on lads who don’t make it at Leinster with numbers like that.
Rugby is dying outside south county Dublin.
There is going to be a reliance on Leinster players because of the schools system and population but Munster are starting to see some fruit from their academy.
Lolz
The Galway West electorates treatment of poor Sean Kyne gave a good indication of the interest in rugby in Connacht. He pledged €20m to rebuild the dogtrack and was out on his ear within a few weeks. Had he pledged that money to Macnas or Pearse Stadium he would have had the seat for life.
Meanwhile Patrick O’Donovan TD who sorted out numerous local GAA clubs with Capital Sports Grants romped home, topping the poll.
A great NCW man
We are miles off their setup. Peter Malone should never hold such an important position and it’s holding us back.
Be very careful making such statements around here
Let’s see how it’s received.
You hold a position on it?
I suspect you’ve already said too much
Taking a while sharpening the knives.
Munster had 8 or 9 lads involved in last years grand slam
Hard to argue with that shitcanning
At least he got to do ketamine.
Was talking about this one with one of the lads there, firstly which grand slam winning team (09 or 18) was better? And combined XV?

2018 tight five much stronger but 2009 wingers and centres the same. Hard to call it on balance, but two marvellous teams that did Ireland proud.

I’d go Paulie over Toner, and possibly Flannery marginally ahead of Best in that front 5. Just my opinion. You’re right, it is such a hard call, two incredible sides.
