Fair play to them, good game alright. Hope they can do the double over them in a couple of weeks.

You forgot the Cronulla Sharkies.

Was this like one of those pre-season friendlies that Man Utd, Real and Milan etc play in the US in the summer every year?

No. It was a rugby match.

Yeah, I understand, it’s not a proper sport, but was it a pre-season friendly where they try out a bunch of young lads and no one takes the result seriously? Or was it a proper competition with something on the line?

There was a world record of superhumanism on the line pal. Iřland just stopped a world record*

*from being extended.

not a world record

I witnessed a grown man fall to his knees and cry after Ireland won.

5 mins earlier I also witnessed the same grown man ask his friend what was going to happen after the NZ fella ran over his own end line with the ball.

Is that an own-try?

Was this a Walsh cup type game? I’m only catching up now

More like a inter county friendly you’d see on a Thursday evening in Loughrea or Kilkishen by the sounds of it. You get a trophy for winning the Walsh Cup.

Like a pitch opening where teams would prep for a a provincial championship opener. Ah yea

It was like when Limerick won the Camogie All Ireland and some of their lads said the Croke Park curse was finally over

This is test rugby. A proper sport like cricket. There’s no such thing as a friendly. Every test match is life or death.

Outstanding victory.
