The Rugby Thread (Part 1)

He kept referring to “the kiwi”

Sacking Farrell , may or may not make a difference but if he is sacked it will be a very small Improvement , if at all . We currently have a very limited pool of players and things will get worse before they improve .

They are a limited enough group but there is talent coming through too. You can show ambition in your team selection and build or take what is perceived as the least risk and hope you’ll scrape through. Look at the 24 they’ve retained for the Italy game, not a lot of development there.

Yeah there seems to be a good crop coming through from strong recent U20 teams but we’ll be waiting for 3 years or so for those to really form the core of the senior side. We also have a very daunting World Cup draw which makes even the usual QF exit a challenge.

They need to keep Andy Farrell.

Mike Catt needs to be moved on.

Sack Faz, promote Catz

On standar is the only forgien born player playing for ireland that is international standard

Would he be playing if the Leinster lad hadn’t missed out with concussion?

It’ll be right craic when jumps ship off to play in France next season.

50/50 its more horses for courses, depends on who your playing and the game plan. If you go to run over teams, cj is the man. Want to move a bigger team around the field Doris is more athletic etc

His Afrikaan reads better than your English

Actually , I am.
I’m convinced he’s out of his depth.
Pawly will have him putting out the cones next year.

Fire it up

You’d think the IRFU invented the regulations. France, who are rightly getting praise for blooding Dupont and Ntmack have no issue fielding Saffers and Fijians.

Cc @Fagan_ODowd

I like Sweeney, can you paste it up?

5 of the French starting 15 are out for their game with Scotland. What’s the tipping point for a postponment?

Paste unless provocation your only purpose.
