The Rugby Thread (Part 1)

I responded to myself to tie the query to original post. I recorded the snippet off the telly and was going to upload. I was asking the question of the board…rather than talking to myself

If you wish to go through my posting record you will see I have done this quite regularly

You talk to yourself on a public Internet forum in order to remind yourself of things?

Fair cop…I’m the selfish giant

Lovely footage of Finlay Bealham using the escalator in Dublin Airport this morning on the Irish independent website as the media covers our boys’ triumphant return home.

Great to see the diaspora like Bealham involved

Despite the Men in Green arriving in Dublin in the early hours of the morning - they touched down at 5.45am - one avid fan made it to the airport, all the way from Roscommon to meet her heroes.
Rebecca Compton (17) got the bus by herself at half one this morning and arrived at the airport at 4am.

“I didn’t know whether they were going to be here at half 5 or quarter to 10 but I was going to be here either way,” she said.

I have to say that I am concerned that Rebecca’s parents haven’t more control over this tearaway.

Rebecca probably taking advantage of the ASTI strike.

No wonder the Kiwi’s didn’t want Joe, he looks like a tinker her in comparison to Steve

+1. Pat Lam has expressed annoyance that this Roscommon girl turned up at the airport in a Munster rugby jersey and was pictured with Robbie Henshaw who turned his back on his province to play for Leinster.

There are buses to Dublin at that hour?

How do you think country people make the red eyes?

Sorry, I don’t care much for matters outside the Pale to be fair

France beat them in two world cup. In 2011 they were utterly cheated in final.

Ireland’s victory over the All Blcaks is the only show in town here on the mainland sports news, its fucking huge

how droll

Ireland are 7-1 to win the 2nd test vs NZ which to me appears frankly ridiculous.

JS will have O’Mahony, O’Brien and possibly Henderson and Jackson to add to the 22. He will have had two more weeks to work with the squad. He will be able to rest all of his front liners next weekend. Ireland will be at home for this one.

Now I know it appears highly unlikely that you would beat them twice in a month but at that price I’m buying anyways. In fact I’m already well invested.
