The boys on Second Captains were praising Ireland for “saving the game of rugby”.
Thank God we haven’t gone over the top on this win lads.

Roy fucking Curtis ffs
Its great to see a headline writer on the top of his game. That fella spotted a gap and by god did he go for it.
Jesus is he still hanging around? He’s like a fart on an elevator

Was that the piece they played at the start of Off the Ball, last night? Think it was Andrew Watson, was the broadcaster. He absolutely tore into the New Zealand team. Utterly unacceptable for any properly prepared and focused New Zealand teams to ever lose to Ireland. He was saying that the likes of captain Kieran Reed can throw his two World Cup winners medals in the bin along with the world record run of 18 consecutive wins. They’re worthless now. All this current crop of players will be remembered for now is the ignominy of been the first New Zealand team to lose to Ireland. He predicted a serious backlash at Lansdowne Road in a fortnight and again next June for the British Lions. Even that though won’t repair the damage that was done on Saturday.
Having been to New Zealand on a few occasions, that would be a fairly typical reaction. It is demanded that New Zealand win every game. Think of Kerry and Kilkenny levels of intensity in gaelic football and hurling and double it again. There’s no such thing as a friendly game or experimentation for New Zealand. Every game is life and death and has to be won. It really just re-emphasises the scale of Ireland’s achievement in Chicago on Saturday.
you put a lot of effort into posting a load of lies
Can’t be much enjoyment for them winning. Feel sorry for them and Kilkenny supporters. WInning is much more enjoyable when expectations are that you’ll lose which is something they rarely experience.

You’re all over the places on this thread. You shouldn’t mix it with the big boys on a subject you know little or nothing about.
Talking to a kiwi at malahide lawn tennis club.he said it was a 2nd string team
Ten of the New Zealand starting team on Saturday started the rugby championship clinching game against their greatest rivals South Africa back in September - Ben Smith, Ryan Crotty, Julian Savea, Beauden Barrett, Aaron Smith, Joe Moody, Dane Coles, Owen Franks, Jerome Kaino and Kieran Reed. Ireland were probably down a comparable number from their strongest side - Iain Henderson, Peter O’Mahony, Sean O’Brien, Keith Earls for sure and Tadhg Furlong having his first big start locking the scrum.
And here you go again:
Oireland have never finished higher than 8th in the WC despite having the third highest playing numbers

Come back to rugby football mate, Leinster are going to have another dynasty now with the Carberry/Henshaw/Ringrose 10/12/13 coming together
I can confirm I saw Kieran Reed on Sunday strolling around the Magnificant Mile and Watertower Place along with several other All Blacks shopping and laughing together. A Kiwi rugby fan would be sickened to see that, Richie McCaw would have had them doing bodyweight squats all day Sunday as punishment.

A little birdy told me he is always watching and cheering rugby
My aides and advisers are considering whether the scurrilous recent posts warrant a reply or if it would be best to ignore giving them the oxygen of more publicity.
The reaction in Ireland has been predictably ott to a friendly game. It was the same when they beat an under strength France at the last World Cup in a dead rubber, and this result was accentuated far more than having their arse handed to them by the Pumas, when they got home.
