I think we’ve established loads of GAA Club teams wear a sash.

Stripes are actually pretty rare in the GAA. Kilkenny and Ballyboden spring to mind.

As are the colour combination of Red, White and Blue…except in Cork, I think there’s 1 or 2 clubs down there that sport those colours proudly

I couldn’t respect a GAA team in stripes.
