The Saturday/Sunday Game Thread

John Kenny had no idea of the square ball rule in his report either. “May have been in the square before the ball arrived”.

Bollox. Like it or not, modern fistball involves shitloads of just that, fist ball. Dublin in particular love handpassing around the 45 waiting for fouls or an opening and Kilkenny is one of the best fellas at it. He also shows for a pass all day. You may not like it cos hes not turf-eating culchie cunt but he makes a huge impact on the game.

Fair enough. You’ll be happy to know I deleted a more abusive comment prior to posting what I did.

But sure maybe he was pal? Are you implying he thought it should’ve been a free out?

Gobshites. That sort of shit rocks my hole.

It’s odd because you’ve no knowledge of, background in or previous interest in GAA. You’re a weird, little, fat, offended fucker all things told.

Tomás never misses the opportunity for a bit mystery and yerra. Pretty sure Tommy Griffin is called Two Litres because he was working for Finches around the time of his call up to the Kerry team. Páidi spotted a load of bottles in the boot of the car one night in Killarney, and spent the night calling him Tommy “Two Litres” and that was that.

They can pass it all they fucking like, it doesn’t a good footballer make.

That’s a smashing bit of vitriol there pal. I enjoyed it!

As TSG would say ,oooft

That’s a bit harsh now. It’s weird that in that handball alley forehead of yours you’ve no room for the memory of how I correctly foretold the exact manner of Dublin’s defeat by Donegal in 2014 in response to your direct question. That’s fucking analysis right there.

It’s possible that having actually playing in a final at Croke Park as opposed to watching from the premium levels I have a natural feel for these things. Having said that, I never scored all my team’s points (2) in a county final so maybe you have a point.

The point being whether he was in the square before the ball arrived or not was irrelevant.

Oooft.

Was at the game today. Poor standard of football but very enjoyable to watch as a neutral. Absorbing stuff. Mayo don’t have the forwards to win an all Ireland and are too slow transitioning the ball. Dublin can’t play as bad again. Connolly was anonymous, Brogan brutal, Rock missing handy frees.

They won’t win one until they do.[quote=“TreatyStones, post:7969, topic:8281, full:true”]

Agreed.

Sticking with the handball alley forehead angle despite having a fringe which starts on top of your head.

Surely @artfoley or someone can play with you on another thread because there was actually interesting match discussion going on here and I doubt you were even watching The Sunday Game.

He’s Clonbur mate. Padraic is Killererin. No relation AFAIK.

He is a real native Irish speaker .

Match discussion my hole. You were suggesting that Whelan was trying to influence the as yet unnamed referee for the replay. Try to keep track of your own thoughts there.

There is a cautionary tale for @Bandage here. Many many times he has denied his muldoon heritage and tried to be as one with the “urbanite” posse. They were happy to have him but the first time he made even a moderate (and valid criticism) of one of their own he was turned on with some very nasty personal insults.

Come back into the muldoon fold my son all is forgiven
